Am doing a quick review of Weleda Iris Cleansing Lotion - Comes in a purple glass bottle for around £4/5.
I discovered this product from the Weleda site and noticed that not only are all the products holistic but they use similar ingredients to the Dr H range (no mineral oils, synthetic additives, fragrance, colour presevatives)
This stuff is fantastic, it has a light frangrance of orris root and a runny consistancy - I use it to take my make-up off at night and in the shower in the morning, it lasts for ages.
Is suitable for all skin types oily, normal, problem, dry, sensitive. They do a whole Iris range which I am eyeing up
Interested to see if anyone else has tried weleda products and their views.

I remember picking up a Weleda cleanser in Sainsburys once. I was quite interested in trying the range. For some reason though after looking at the list of ingredients I decided not to buy the cleanser. Can't remember what put me off it though. I just remember that it contained something that I thought was pretty bad for a product range that considers itself to be 'natural'.
Will have to have another look at the range when I next visit the supermarket. |

Ingredients are water, jojoba oil, sesame oil, alcohol, glycerin with hazel, distillate fragrance, fuller's earth, sodium beeswax, orris root extract, xanthan gum.
They do a sensitive range which contains hardly any ingredients - think it's the Almond range.
Good to know it's in Sainsbury's is quite good for £4.10 though (checked).
We can afford to eat then |
