Hi All
Can anyone recommend a good supplier of handmade soaps.
I am looking for soaps that contain only natural ingredients and no chemicals.
TIA

I got some hand made soap from an ebay site selling acne scrub and exotic oil moisturiser. The soap is amazing, really pure and non drying, I even used it on my face!
The moisturiser is fab too, I'll review it soon. You get a free (huge size) soap with each order or it's 5 soaps for $20 I think. do a search for 'smooth and clear' and it sould come up

Guapa Girl is right. Go to no-acne. The soap there is just fantastic. I ordered yesterday, my third time. And if you buy 4 you get one free. These are HUGE 7-8 oz bars. The other products are very good as well. |

Are you looking for facial soaps or body soaps? I like to use Dr. Bronner soap in the shower. It is just a plain castille soap. I have dry skin and I have used every moisturizing soap under the sun, but castille soap works sooooo much better than any 'moisturizing soap' that I have ever used. |

I agree with the Dr. Bronner suggestion. It is all natural and you can purchas it in liquid or bar forms. Some people even use the liquid as a shampoo. |

Try Puredeming
Pure Castile
Palm-Olive Soap Bar
"This is the BEST of The BEST in Soaps. Contains no preservatives, scents/fragrances, coloring or animal products. Castile soaps first produced in Spain during the 13th century became known as the "Queen of Soaps." Even today Castile soaps still retain that reputation and are widely used in Europe. Castile traditionally is made from a combination of Olive oil and fat (we use Palm oils instead of Fat). Olive oil gives the soap its mildness and gentleness. Many soap makers call their vegetable oil based soaps Castile. But, true Castile soaps must be produced from a mixture that is forty to sixty percent or more Olive oil. PureDeming’s are seventy percent, plus. Many of the modern Castile soaps contain little or no Olive oil and most are made from coconut oil, or cocoa butter. These are not true Castiles, and not the best quality. Soaps made from coconut oil are very drying and can cause skin irritation. Cocoa Butter is a cheap, and inferior substitute for a real Castile recipe. These are the reasons we know our Castile Soap made in the traditional way from Olive oil and Palm oil is the best-handcrafted soap on the market today. Though the soap is unscented, the combinations of Olive and Palm oils yield a light pleasant scent."

Hi Cheeks!
Here is the link to the Soap Dish (a forum of handcrafted soapmakers/sellers) that I belong to. They are a great bunch of soapers and many of them sell their natural handmade soaps at their websites which are listed on their posts on the Soap Dish forum. Hope this helps!
