There's an urban legend that dermarolling with copper peptides helps with regrowth after baldness. I don't recall anybody on this forum discussing it at length, but there are a lot of people on the internet who swear by it. Maybe do a quick google search? Good luck! |

Thank you so much for responding, I did do a google search but most of the reports are from men. I am still hoping someone here but have given it a try! I would love to reduce my shedding and have thicker hair for fall/winter...I know, dream on. But I have not given up yet. |

Use wooden combs to promote blood circulation, so that hair can also promote hair growth. Don't wash your hair too often. You'd better not wash your hair once a day. |

Try castor oil first - much easier. Just put some in a shot glass or similar container and use a Q-tip to apply to the scalp before bed. Use a towel to protect your pillow. The next morning shampoo and condition as usual. The conditioner is what really gets the oil out.
Laser hair combs also work, but are pricey.
A number of functional foods and supplements promote hair thickness. My favorites are porcini mushrooms (porcini powder is the cheapest way to buy; it can be made into a broth), wild blueberries (buy frozen, use in smoothies), and mitoQ (a CoQ10 derivative).
There are other useful topicals such as caffeine and melatonin. |
