Didn't see this until just now! Duh...
I use the Active Serum in conjunction with the Hydra Cool. I think you really have to use both together because they aren't kidding when they call it "active". It's a strong exfoliant indeed, but without any irritation at all.
I've used many different products over the past couple of years (because I'm a fickle product junkie ), but this stuff is most definitely a keeper!!! I did a review of the line, which you can take a look at. I've never been so impressed with a product. The results were rapid and dramatic.
I keep thinking that one morning, I'll wake up and find that my new poreless complexion was all a fantasy, because it really does seem too good to be true! |

Well, I ordered the active serum and talked myself out of the super serum because I still have half a bottle of Skinceuticals serum 20, then I went back 15 min later and ordered the super serum.
What exactly does the Hydra cool do? Could I use my cellex-c hydration complex instead?

Hmmmm.... I'm honestly not sure. Here is what they say about the HydraCool....
Hydra-Cool is formulated to hydrate and soothe damaged &
acneic skin. It reduces irritation while providing antiseptic and
antibacterial protection. A key ingredient in this formulation is
Centella Asiatica known to have extraordinary healing &
antioxidant properties. Also contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin
B5, Kojic Acid, & Menthol. |
