I read a thread from this forum and everyone in that thread highly recommended Alpha Derma products. I ordered the whole set and have been using it for a week. I have a good skin but I want to use that product to prevent the aging process and reduce a few fine lines around my eyes, plus I have a dark circle under my eyes. However, I noticed the fine lines under my eyes are deeper because the skin is getting too dry. This morning I saw the skin under my eyes are peeling off a little bit. Worse, I can see the dead skin hanging under my eyes. What should I do? I didn’t know this product is a peeling product? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, there are people here who are far more knowledgeable than I am about these products. Winnie is a sales rep and also uses the products and has always been super sweet and helpful.
I used the line for a little while. I didn't have any problem with the Skin Prep and the AD - in fact, I'm using them on my butt atm (laughing.....its great there btw). I loved the way my skin felt, but I didn't see very much in the way of results, although others have. I stopped using the stuff on my face because I found a more effective product.
The Okusil was another story. I suddenly saw lines that I never had before and the skin around my eyes seemed loose and baggy. I got some advice from Winnie and followed it. I also tried compensating with a fairly rich eye cream. No luck. I looked awful. OUT went the Okusil. I know that others here have had problems with it too. I was particularly struck by it because I don't have dry skin and have never had that kind of reaction to any product.
I'm not sure why you are peeling. There are some products with strong exfoliants, and you just have to weather a period of the uglies as the dead skin is eliminated. But, at least to my knowledge, the Skin Prep and AD are NOT exfoliants and that shouldn't be happening. Are you sure its your skin and not that you are using too much of the product? |

Hi Katee,
Oh my god, I noticed the same thing like you had experienced around your eyes too, and this morning I saw some peeling off around eye areas. I'm too scared now and called the company. They said the product might not be good for my skin and asked me to stop using it. Now I don't know what to do with that extra dry skin under my eyes. AHHhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! |

mmm, from what I know okusil is a hyaluronic acid based product and I know that if I over use relaxaline which also has HA and agireline in it, it makes my skin look flakey, so it could be what katee said. Try using a tiny drop between both eyes and see how it goes. Alternatively PM winnie |

Hi Katee,
how and what did you do to correct the damage to the skin under your eyes due to using the product??? |

I stopped using the Okusil for one thing! I used Sisley's eye and lip contour balm twice a day and once my skin started looking normal again, Skin Medica TNS Uplifting Eye stuff....
I would have used something richer but I always worry about milia. I've used the Sisley in the past and its very nice - more of a lotion than a cream.
To be honest, I think any good eye product that's directed at moisture and repair will get you back to where you were. |
