I decided to start with the daily face care kit (for oily/problem skin) to test out the products.

I'm a little confused, though - there is the cleansing cream and toner, which obviously go together in that order. But then there is the 'Day oil' and the two masque treatments. Does the Day oil go on only in the morning? How often do you use the two masque treatments?

Hi Almagarret!
Hope you like the products.
The people at Dr.H say to use cleanser and toner morning and night (and use something to take makeup etc off before using the cleansing cream). Normalizing day oil is only for day- the people say nighttime is when the skin has a 'rest' and is supposed to take care of itself over this time. if you feel you need to, their rhythmic night conditioner can be used in cycles at nighttime.
As for masks, look at what each says it does- if you feel you need a lot of that action, heavy use of a mask to me is around 3 times per week, and 1 time a week for maintenance- so you could use each once or twice a week, depending upon what each mask gives your skin. For example, if it says it helps to clear the skin use three time a week until it has done this and then once a week after that to maintain what it is doing.

Hoep this makes sense- I have rambled on a bit tho!!

Take care

Thanks maddy!!

I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing before I tried out the products for the first time. After all the raves about the Cleansing Cream, I can't wait. The tubes are very tiny, though!

I also got the Internal Cosmetic and I haven't seen a review of that here yet, so I'll try to make sure to do a review after a month or so.

Off to try them now....Smile

The tubes in the trial kit are very tiny, but you don't need too much product per use. I found that the sample cleansing cream, toner and oil lasted me about a week and the masks are about 1-2 uses.

Do you guys usually use both masques in your regimen or do you use one or the other?

I am really liking the products so far. The first thing I noticed is that even after two uses the tone of my skin is much more even and there is less bad redness.

The Internal Cosmetic are vitamin type pills you take to promote clear skin. I also got the Floral Body Wash and the deodrant, both of which I like a lot.

I use both the clay mask and the rejevenating mask as a regular part of my skin care routine. Hell, I'd use even more of them (and more often) if I could afford it!

If you decide you like the cleansing cream, then you might want to try the homemade version at some point...the recipe can be found at this link: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?p=38536 and you can read the opinions on others who’ve made the homemade version here: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=5445
