Hi,
Does anyone here know how effective Red Light Therapy is? (LCD) I am wanting to purchase the hand held TANDA LUXE which you hold onto the areas you are wanting to treat until the unit beeps then you move the device to other areas on the face until the unit shuts off. I believe you only get 1,000 uses out of it then it won't turn on anymore. It cost $99.99 at Walmart but I'm just wondering how effective red light therapy is. I googled it but got mixed opinions, I don't really want to know how this specific device performs, but if anyone has used it, that would be great to know. I'm moreless wanting to know if red light therapy is effective. It just seems like if it were that simple, everyones issues would be solved and the cosmetics industry as we know it would go broke. Lol any input is appreciated. Thanks! |

You're right. It's not that simple.
But I guess the real question is...is effective for what? What is your objective?
Anti aging? Anti acne? Wrinkles, scars or just to have better skin? Red light therapy does promote collagen and healing.
For me it was subtle and does take some patience; but it did make my skin look healthier.
Red light therapy is effective for some people and not for others...just like everything else. And even if effective it is one tool in a toolbox of tools.
No one thing does it all.
I have a light stim and I'm happy enough with it and glad I got it. I do believe in red light therapy although keeping ones expectations realistic and being patient is key to its effectiveness.
But I do use it in conjunction with many other things. There is really not one tool or product that takes away the need for these other things (including topical, other devices or manipulations and internal nutrition or supplement). |

Sorry to be ignorant. Is red light therapy the same as red LED? |
