Hi Guys!
So I'm new to this forum (I'm 24), I have heard on skinceuticals serum's which supposed to be good brand but I was wondering if this korean serum is also ok?
It's just like 1\8 in price and 4 thousands got sold so i wonder what would be the difference beside the name of the brand?
So please tell me your opinion and if I should purchase,
P.S I can't send a link because I'm new to this forum so if you search on eBay : "[OST] C20 Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum -> [TIAM] My Signature C Source 30ml"
You will see the serum i'm talking about.
Thanks! |

I see what you're talking about. Here's my take on it..
It might be perfectly fine but I can't see the ingredients listed anywhere. I am always very interested in what kind of c they're using and what other ingredients go into any serum I use.
You should be too.
I'm not sure of your location but this serum would take 3-4 weeks to arrive at my doorstep. If it's L-ASCORBIC ACID then it has a pretty short shelf life until it oxidizes.
If it's MAP or SAP then it is less volatile and more stable and will last a while longer.
But I still think any serums containing C have a shorter shelf life than other serums.
The fresher the better when it comes to Vit C serum.
You don't have to spend big $$ like Skinceuticals to get a good C serum.. |

For myself, I would not order this Vit-C serum. There are excellent, reasonably priced Vit-C serums to be had.
This is the one I am currently using since I have been too lazy to make my own. Yes, you can make your own there are formulations available elsewhere on this forum.
http://www.skinactives.com/Vitamin-C-Serum-Ascorbic-Acid-L.html
Only $16.50 and available in 15% and 20% solutions. |

i do not think so, i have tried a lot of korean skin care, but I have never heard of this one.
i recomend you using a more famous brand with good reputation, sometimes it is not about what a serum claims, but about its results.

Hi danie
I tested the 2 serums mentioned, the serum vit c ost of wishtrend and the serum CE ferulic of skinceuticals,
in my experience, the serum ost caused me comedones and black dots,
serum skinceuticals is much more effective without causing comedones but more expensive. |

Try IS Clinical Super Advanced +... other than the Vit C (L-Ascorbic), it contains mushroom extract and Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid ...
Might as well kill a few birds with one stone.... |

I've been using C+ Firming serum from Cellular Skin RX for 14 years. It's stable C and water-free, low pH, dark glass bottle - meets all the requirements of an effective C serum. EDS sells it here. I think you can search on it - used to be quite a bit of discussion on the board, many users for sure. |

Hey! Vitamin C serums are good for the skin it may not be suitable for everyone. The serums are definitely good for the skin health and will thereby be the best in the skin care products. Vitamin C serums should not be used by the people having acne prone skin and may boost the acne growth. |

It seems okay!
To check it properly if it works well on your skin too, apply it on a little part and wait for 5 to 10 minutes. If your skin do not show any reaction you are good to go. |
