Hi,
I have used Alldaychemist's Tretinoin Gel 0.1% on and off for years. I decided to try using it more consistently, and was about to order more when I found I still had a tube of Supatret 0.1% microgel. I could not recall why I hadn't used it, but had only a vague recollection that it didn't seem to do much. I decided to try it again since it seems like the microgel is the preferred delivery method for many. I've used it for a couple days and it seems nothing is happening.
For full disclosure I must admit it is expired, but I still have some of the A Ret tretinoin gel 0.1% that I got at the same time which is also well past the date on the tube, and it works just fine, i.e. within a couple days I'm peeling and red.
Has anyone else found the microgel less/not effective? And/or could it be the Supatret in particular? Every time I've gone on ADC they are out of stock of the other brand of the 0.1% microgel, so I've only ever tried the Supatret. I would prefer something as effective as the regular gel but without quite the extreme, red, rashy side effects. |
