Hello, it has been so long since I asked help on this powerful skin care website. Last time I needed you was 25, now I am 30 and my biggest skin problem is my eyes. I look very old and very tired. I shared my story before. I think it's a matter of broken capillaries more than an issue of genes. I was mixing strong essential oils in an attempt to minimize the dark shadows especially in the inner corner of my eyes, actually they weren't that bad, they were fine and I was very beautiful but insanely demanding. I damaged this part and it becomes extremely thin and dark and my big concern deals with mainly this inner corner part of my eyes apart from the thin skin and dark circles around them. I didn't know people should never touch this area as many told me and as many of you do not include their inner eye corners when they put serums or creams. Always wondering; We are in 2018, yet why is science so inattentive and inconsiderate when it comes to eyes and thin skin problems. Is there anyone who did a great job with his or her eyes. I last time did teosyal fillers however my eyes are still very blue and dark , may be it done the wrong way but tell me please if there is anything I can do that can bring a relief to my self confidence. Any small gadget like IRIS or rio or lightstim or anything that can be helpful for the eyes? PLEEEEEEEAAAASE ADVICE ME! |

I use pure castor oil (a drop under each eye) and it has helped quite a bit with dark circles...it does take a few weeks of usage to see a difference. HTH |

I was Just researching something else but came across this..... Reports are good. OK. Here is a gift to all you dark circled eyed gals out there. You asked for something to get rid of dark circles - here is a homemade Circle Buster recipe:
Go to your grocery store. Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (Knox, for example)
Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1/4 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add 1 Tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute.
Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.
I worked in a day spa & this was our "Circle Buster" Treatment. Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.
The day spa where I worked charged $60 for this treatment (but they put rose petals on your eyelids), and it wasn't until after I quit, that I found out what was in those little white packets!
There you go.....enjoy! |

Cristini - what kind of results does this produce I'm curious. I know you say its a circle busting treatment but just curious and it sounds fab and easy so thanks for sharing.

SaharKhlifi: I just make sure it's pure organic oil. I'm not sure why it works. I just saw it recommended so many times on Pinterest that I thought I would try it.
PS: mine is cold-pressed also...that might make a difference. It's Pure Body Naturals from Amazon. |

I'd use the weakest copper peptides from Skin Biology.. it does thicken skin. I'd use GHK first generation and only three times a week to start lightly once a day. |

Stretching and scrubbing the under-eye area can exacerbate thinning and encourage inflammation, which shows up as redness or as dark circles. Be careful when you remove eye makeup—don’t rub. Sleep on your back, to discourage fluid buildup underneath your eyes and the look of under-eye bags. Cold items, such as an ice pack, cucumber slices and cold tea bags can also be used to temporarily shrink blood vessels that appear as puffy dark circles. |
