I need a night cream (preferably unscented) that will rid me of dry patches I seem to be getting right now. I am 60, used to have oily skin, but it's changed to combo over the last 3 years. I have large pores that can easily get clogged. Right now, I am using a 10% glycolic face wash every 3 days and a clay cleansing wash for the other days. I really need to keep my pores clean as they can clog up/get dark very easily. I am currently using SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex, Cellex-C Hydra B-5, Korres Pomegranate Moisturizer. I cannot wear heavy moisturizer during the day, as it will make me shiny in 10 minutes. Thanks for your help. P.S. Could this dryness be caused by my SPF50 sunscreen? |

Biologique Rercherche
Quintessential serum Collagen NATIF
Hydravit Cream
Get a consultation with one of their skin diagnostic machine too. BR prices are more than reasonable compared to some of the brands you mentioned. |

Sounds to me like you are trying to do 2 opposite things which is why it is so difficult to find the right product... Both clay and glycolic are only making dry skin drier...
Would like to recommend High Frequency D'arsonval for your pores, this gadget is not expensive and really does work. With it, you can concentrate and look for something hydrating.
I realise this is a gadget and you asked about a cream, but sometimes combined approach is best
Good luck! |
