We've all heard LED is great for skin and healing. I want to speed up the healing of some hyperpigmentation I seem to have gotten after having a plasma pen treatment, around my eyes.
I've found a few different LED bulbs with good reviews on amazon, with differing watts and wavelengths in nanometers (nm).
Does anybody know which of the following would be the best option for skin healing? (descriptions copied from amazon):
1) 660nm/25W - Produces as much light as 54W (18x3W) Class. Uses 25W of power at the wall.
2) 660nm/12W - Produces as much light as what other sellers are calling 24W. Pulls a true 12W of power at the wall.
3) 620-630nm/26W - Pulls a true 26W of power at the wall. Produces as much light as what other sellers are calling 54W.
All 3 of these bulbs can be seen here on amazon:

So to summarize....
Which is better in LED, for skin healing?
-----> 660nm vs 630nm?
-----> 26W vs 25W vs 12W ?
Thanks in advance for any tips and insights! |

I wouldn't use anything meant for grow operations -- they don't have to worry about temperature. The wattage of the LED you posted is higher than what I've typically seen for LED devices. More watts = higher temperature = hyper pigmentation risk for healing skin. If you just spent money on plasma procedures, take the extra measure and spend money on a quality LED device. |
