I am a bit embarrassed Embarassed to post this thread but am really curious if anyone has done it before. I came across some really really soft horsehair paint brushes the other day and the prices are so much less than those I have used Embarassed (cheap?). Since I am looking for a liquid foundation brush, I was so tempted to get one, but my husband has stopped me on time. Have you done it before?

I used to be an art student and yes I have been tempted - I don't think you would find much difference - try and see, whatever tool suits you best Smile In fact I will dig out some of my old brushes, which came to think of it casot more than some of my make-up brushes!!!!!

Hi there! I haven't done it before and it never occurred to me but I don't see why you couldn't - as a matter of fact I probably would if I needed some brushes! The only thing I might suggest is that if you are looking for a liquid foundation brush that you look for something synthetic, so that your foundation doesn't get absorbed!
Go for it!

Great tip Pudoodles. There is actually one really soft brush is synthetic and then the horse hair is softer. But they (Home Hardware)ran out of the horse hair one. Maybe I will make a trip to the art store soon. Will report back, and rosebud, please let us know once you've tried.
