I have been shaving my upper lip for about 5 years. I started when I was very self conscious of the hair on my upper lip. It all went well for a few weeks but soon I realized that I had to keep shaving it more often because it grew out stubbly. Worse off, the skin on my upper lip began to show a greenish undertone. I was shy about it so I didn't tell anyone. Anyone know any product that could help my condition? Would bleaching it make a difference or should I just try waxing it? HELP! |

I'm so sorry this happened to you.
First thing is not to be scared, it all looks stubbly because shaving cuts the hair so when it grows, it looks thicker then it is.
I don't know how sensitive your skin is or what your skin care regimen. If you are using any retinol or retin A product waxing is not a good idea.
I would recommend threading - don't know how accessible that is for you.
Another option, my favourite, is an epilator. You can use epilator any time you like in privacy of your own home.
Be careful to always pluck the hair in the same direction so they don't grow in.
Good luck!

Permanent Hair Reduction using IPL or Laser. 4-6 courses 3 weeks apart. |
