Please Very Happy

I have the following:

Dr. Hauschka's Cleansing Cream
Dr. Hauschka's Cleansing Clay Mask (sample)
Dr. Hauschka's Normalizing Day Oil (sample)
Dr. Hauschka's Facial Toner (sample)

Dermanew Microabrasion Kit
Retacnyl tretinoina 0,050% (from Mexico)
Olay Regenerist

Is there some sort of order you'd use or not use? Should I not be using any of these products in conjunction with any of the others?

I'm 52, am just lately trying to figure out the best things for my skin. I don't have many wrinkles due to my oily complexion--yay! But, I do have large pores and blackheads

Thanks in advance! I'm a new to all of this~

Hey Red!
This is just a suggestion, and some of the products I am unfamiliar with.

Morning:
Dr.Hauschka Cleansing Cream (will prob be ok by itself on clean skin in the morning, but at night you will need another cleanser to remove makeup and grime)
Dr.H facial toner
Normalising day oil

Night:
Cleanse
Dr.H cleansing cream
Dr.H facial toner
You could possibly use your retinol cream at nights, although the Dr.H people don't recommend it, but this is when I would put treatment moisturiser on to give it a good chance to work.

Then:
Once or twice a week, depedning on condition of your skin, exfoliate using your microdermabrasion kit and use the mask. On these nights, do not use the Dr.Hauschka cleansing cream - all that exfoliation will be too rough for your skin.

Not sure about that Olay product, but it sounds nice.

Hope this helps Very Happy

Take care

maddy.

I totally agree with Maddy although I'm not familiar with Retacnyl tretinoina.

All I would say is that perhaps you should do the microdermabrasion and the Dr H clay mask on a different day if your skin is sensitive.

The cleansing cream should really help with blackheads and pores. Please make sure that you follow the exact technique for applying it though. Additionally, if you are changing your whole skincare regime then perhaps it might be best to do it gradually so you don't shock your skin and get a breakout.

Well, thank you, Ladies Smile Your experienced advice means a lot!

Seems like I read somewhere not to use Retin-A/Renova (Retacnyl tretinoina) when using a micro-dermabrasion treatment? Have you heard that?

I'm excited to use the Dr. H's CC and other products!

hmmmm....I'd probably alternate nights between the Renova and Strivectin and then, if you don't want to purchase the daytime normalizing oil when your sample runs out, incorporate the Strivectin into your morning regime...(and then use the renova alone every night)...re: the dermabrasion - I wouldn't even go there while using the renova - but I would use the Dr. Hauschka cleansing cream a few times weekly (at least I'd try it..) and I might try the mask once a week...(that's only because I do get quite red when I use renova and would be a bit nervous about irritation)... I'd use the Oil of Olay on my neck and decolleté..
Good luck! Enjoy your products!

I agree with Pudoodles on the Renova and dermabrasion or even exfoliation, especially if you are prone to irritation and/or redness.

I believe tretinoin is a powerful exfoliate, among other things, you may not need another form. If you feel you need to exfoliate, I would stop using the Renova for a couple days before hand.
