After a long period of waist-long hair, I have them cut to the shoulder line because of some reason. But I still wish to have long hair, so does anyone have some tips on growing hair faster? |

A healthy diet will ensure your hair gets all the sustenance it needs to grow long and strong and keep it shiny and silky smooth. |

Remember that it can't grow overnight. ...
And don't shampoo every time you shower. ...
Do a cold-water rinse at the end of each shower. ...
Apply an oil or mask treatment weekly. ...
Consider trying hair-boosting supplements. ...
Brush your hair like it's spun from gold. ...
Ditch your cotton pillowcase. |

I have naturally curly hair down mid-back that is fragile. I am prone to losing hair after menopause so I am extra careful.
I do have highlights and lowlights, but not using bleach, just color and I have periodic trims.
My hairstylist advises me to NOT us a a brush, even when blow-drying.
I only use a pick comb when untangling.
I partially blow-dry using my fingers, only on Friday when I want to style it.
Minimize the heat tools, biggest no no she says.
I only wash every other day and then I let it air dry.
I periodically use Castor oil on the crown and a deep treatment on the rest that I leave a bit in.
I do drink a green drink and take supplements, including omegas daily.
That seems to help. |
