Ok now I am totally confused. I have been following all the lip threads for a while. I am 48 and my goal is to hydrate/moisturize/protect the lips and try and get rid of the lines on my lips. Plumping would be great but not the absolute primary goal. It seems there is Gatineau, lipfusion, decleor and jurlique and now modelle? Someone help me. I haven't bought anything yet but need some sensible recommendations. Thanks! |

Gaby - I've got the Jurlique, Gatineau, Decleor and also Dr Hauschka. Of all of these the Decleor is my favorite. It moisturises well and gives lips a nice healthy flush (which Carrie tells me is because of the cinnamon oil it contains - makes sense!). The only problem with it is that it comes in a jar and is not very portable. The Gatineau is also very good at moisturising and it stays on for longer than the Decleor. I have found that the color of the Gatineau (pinkish cream) makes my lips appear paler than they are, which is something I don't like really. It does make a great lipstick base though. |
