Holy crap!! Did you notice that those listings include half of the products specifically sold at Whole Foods? There were lots of high risk ratings for Avalon, JASON, Kiss My Face, etc. type products. Fresh, DDF, and Cellex-C were featured quite a bit, too.
I noticed that some of the products listed, though, were just for lack of research on a particular ingredient (and ones that don't seem to be too worrisome! Like citrus extracts...) The only thing that kind of makes one needlessly worry initially is that some of these products are flagged for containing absorption enhancers (a la propylene glycol), but don't contain the more harmful substances to worry about having absorbed, which is kind of pointless, unless you're layering on harmful stuff over it.
Thanks for the link!! That was pretty fun! Granted, I noticed in your first link that a Dr. H product was featured in a picture, but I don't know if that was a mix of bad/recommended products or whatever.
I just never realized that these "organic" brands sold in health centers are actually pretty on par chemically with regular supermarket brands, like Dove and Healing Garden stuff! |

Hello
Yes, it was very inetersting to see that both organic and other brands contain a lot of not FDA ingredients.
I wasnt sure why Dr Hs product was in that picture either
When I did a search for Dr H at the other link it didnt come up with any results though
But yes, heaps of other organic brands did come up as worse in some categories of products.

It is sad, but when you look at the ingredients on many of the 'health food store' brands you find things that are very much unnatural. So far the best brands I have found are Dr Hauschka and Aubrey Organics. |

It is worrying to see the well-praised Dr. H CC is among those products. But I can't find di-butyl phthalate (DBP) and di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in CC though.
