I have mild rosacea and i use skinceuticals physical uv pretection spf 30...i want something a bit higher..but im not sure if i should take a risk of using chemicals on my skin. when i used neutrogenas spf 45 protector(w/ parcol 1789) last summer...my skin would feel irritated and almost always turn red in the sun...so after using that, i said no to chemicals:/ anyone else with very sensitive skin that could help me with this? |

Hi Purpleturtle,
I'm not sure if your skin turning red in the sun last summer was due to the chemicals in the Neutrogena SPF 45. It could be because the sunscreen is not photostable and you are being burnt from UVA rays.
Have you tried Avene's SPF 50 sunblock? It is a physical sunscreen. |
