I've got some lumps and bumps here and there I read somewhere that one of the pantyhose companies makes a great *smoother outer* thingamajig. Anyone know of a product like this?
It was a pretty common (USA) company like L'Eggs. Oh and I think someone mentioned SPANX, too.
Damned menopause memory.....
Thanks! |

Hi Red77! I have the Spanx and I really like them - the only thing is that they are warm in the summer months - woudn't recommend them as a regular thing in warm weather....All the others I've tried make me look and feel like a sausage! The Spanx is the only one I've tried that doesn't squeeze the life out of my waistline and thighs..

Yeah I got some Spanx from QVC about a year ago, you get 2 pais for about £17. Nude and black. I love them, they really smooth out my lumps and bumps and they dont cut off my circulation!! But I agree they are warm in the summer months! |

Thanx Hello!
Aren't they more like a leotard? I remember seeing them on QVC years ago--should have gotten them back them.
Has anyone heard of anything made by a common pantyhose company? My menopause memory is failing me MUST write things down when I read them! |

Okay, found it! It was on another BB I frequent
This is the consensus:
OROBLU Frrench pantyhose sold at Nordstrom's
No-Nonsense brand Great Shapes or Body Shapers
L'Eggs All Over Shaper
Spanx
Lipo in a Box (QVC)
I'll let you know, if you like
Thanks for replying!
I'm getting some! |

I checked out the shapers. It seems that I thought they were only from the tummy to the thigh but they're actual pantyhose.
BUT, I got a couple of lightweight panty girdle type thingies that are that length. I'll see if they're comfortable or painful |

Hi Pudoodles
I got Hanes Her Way *Shapers* They're 'thigh slimmers'--were two more lovely words ever spoken?
They're seamless and are made of microfibers--think I could use them to wash the windows? I got black ones just because
The others are by a company called Cupid. They're low rise, firm control--called a 'smooth pantliner' in white.
I got them both at Walmart
I'll for sure keep you posted. It's my day off and I refuse to try them under my *soft pants* |

Don't you just hate that? You want to feel slimmer but instead it feels like you have gained 10 lbs. with that roll. I am always afraid someone will put their arm around my waist. |

Thanks for the link, Carekate. I'm trying on the low-rise smoother this morning, so I can report back soon.

I thought I posted here but it's gone!
The slimmer was horrible! Forced my roll up and the legs were mid-calf. About cut off my circulation. I had dents!
I'll try the other style nexk week--I should have gotten the midriff model! |

Oh no, Red77 - I totally relate to that! What a nightmare! I was like that with slimmers till I found the Spanx - I don't love that they are nylon - but at least I don't feel like the Michelin Man with them on!

I need to exercise. Then I won't need the slimmers, right? Right! |
