Has anyone purchased those pore vacum devices? What are your views? My eldest son suffers from oil skin and frequently gets blackheads (which of course I feel compelled to squeeze each time he comes round) but I was thinking maybe this device might be helpful for him, but wanted to gather any views?

I have one but do not use it anymore. Its the manual suction one, cannot remember the name, that was popular here for a while. Comes in small and larger sizes depending on areas you want to use it on.
I experienced a few broken caps/bruised areas with it due to the suction. Have to remember to keep it moving!
But there is also a difference in age since I am 56 with thinner skin and I bruise easier.

Oh I think you mean the vaculifter. That isn't the same thing as what I mean. This one is specifically for cleansing the pores of dirt and grime etc and not lifting the face. Also you are quite young, I'm in my 70's! My eldest son is in his late 30's and its him I was thinking of getting it for.

Yes, that's the one! Thanks, I have been walking around trying to remember what it is called.
My device did suction out around the nose if you squeezed it hard enough but didn't really clean the pores.
I know my niece had a pore vacuum but it was a relatively cheap one and didn't work well.

There is not enough suction to remove blackheads for me.
