Hi there fellow skin care enthusiasts!
It was intimidating for me to think about making my own sunscreen. I've been buying a locally hand-crafted sunscreen and using loads of it.
Once you have a bag of zinc oxide powder you can convert DIY or store bought creams into sunscreen. Do not breathe the zinc oxide powder; with proper use you can make batches of sunscreen for yourself and others.
I wrote about it in this article:
DIY Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide for Health, Wealth and Beauty

Take good care of yourselves! XO HGG |

I have DIY basic items but I will not consider making a sunscreen.
I use only sunscreen formulated with physical filters PLUS I have double check ALL the ingredients in the base as I have sensitive skin. EDS has many options from reputable companies that believe in lab testing.
I like Lab Muffin blog.
