| Hello ladies! With my $50 gift certifacate, I got the Jane I. Jewel Box round pallet of jewel toned cream to powder eye liners. I love the shades but as they are very dryish, not cream at all; as an eyeliner, they just don't work with a flat eyeliner brush. So I've decided to use them as eyeshadow, which is much better. They are difficult to blend, so you must wear a bit of eye cream all over to get any slip. They stay pretty good for several hours with just a bit of creasing. |

| I nearly bought the black one of these but got the Bare Escentuals loose shadow in soft black and the jane iredale liner brush - I am so glad I did I love this stuff, I don't think I will need to buy another eye liner again. |

I purchased the jewel box last month and it don't find it dry at all -- in fact I find it a bit too slick! Granted, I do have oily eyelids so I have a totally different perspective here. They are a lot easier to apply as eyeshadow than eyeliner, but I have found if you apply it as eyeliner and stroke from the lash upwards it comes out better than going side to side.
I find the colors beautiful so I am very happy with my purchase!! Which is your favorite? I like the green the best.  |
