| Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm currently in search of a new hair salon and wanted to reach out for some recommendations or advice. I've recently moved to a new area and am unfamiliar with the local salons. What factors do you consider when choosing a hair salon? Are there any specific questions I should ask when calling or visiting a salon for the first time? I'm looking for a place that offers quality services and a comfortable atmosphere. Any insights or personal experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. |

Having just been through that two years ago, I do empathize.
I have long blonde hair which is extremely curly if not blow dried out.It is now grey, which is almost identical to the blonde color highlights I had. The right blonde colors is very tricky to have done.
I asked neighbors and friends for recommendations but also got on my neighborhood pages and asked.
Once I got a place/salon picked out, I looked at their FB page and could see the various stylists they post on a weekly basis and the cuts/colors they do.
I found one there but ended up switching to one at the same salon bc she was more experienced in my hair type and length than the other guy. Plus he didn't do Thurs. Or Fridays which are my best days for going in. He also didnt style, just cut.
I love my person (just saw her yesterday) and its only 4 minutes from my house which is a bonus.
