Hi all, I started using Obagi a week ago. I am only slightly red <sometimes> and have had no flaking yet... I would like to know how long did you have to wait after you started obagi to see your freckles/spots disappear and I am also curious about when will the redness and other <side effects> will start...
My Obagi brochure says the first month has been called by users "I hate it" so I wonder when will I start hating it... |

Hi Maria,
I can't answer your questions about freckles as they weren't one of my problem areas. If I remember correctly it was about two weeks before my skin starting looking really red and dry. It also depends a lot on how agressively you are using the system so is different for all of us.
I recently put myself back on Obagi and am a dry flaky red mess again. Having been on maintenance for several months I got bored lol.

I guess my treatment is not very aggressive since my derm gave me blender + tretinoin only 4 times a week... Thanks for your reply |

Maria,
I have been using obagi for the past two weeks. I like you have not had an aggressive treatment. I have retin A .05 strength w/ blender at night 7 days a week.
I'm still waiting for the harshness that other's have experienced. I've only had slightly dry skin, hardly no flaking. My husband did notice that my skin tone looks more blended instead of the dark spots. Plus he stated the dark acne scars I had look better. |
