As many of you have been reading, I was heading to the EDS to get a skin consultation as I was clueless as to how to treat my skin
Well, everything was confirmed about my skin: slightly dry, congested on chin and between eyebrows, some sun damage, fine lines and dark circles under my eyes
Here is what I bought:
Demalogica Normal-Dry Skin Care Kit
Daily Microfoliant
Multi-vitamin Power-firm for eyes/lips
(also getting free AM/PM kit)
I think this will get me every product that I was interested in and I can give them a try and then upgrade to the larger sizes
I was interested in the Dermalogica for their simplicity and no nonsense packaging. I am just going to slather it on my skin doesn't have to be pretty looking just work wonders
Just a note...I did come home and order everything online as they didn't have everything in stock at the Spa. So ladies, don't feel bad if you can't get to the spa, ordering online is even better
Also, EDS has the best prices I have seen
Now, if only I knew how I was supposed to use everything |

Thanks for letting us know that it may be better to order online. I'm going to Vancouver for a couple of days next week and couldn't book a spa appointment at EDS at a convenient time for me. I was going to try to get there anyway to buy some products, but now I think I'll just do it over the Internet.
Thanks cbrooke!!! |

cbrooke - here's a suggestion on how to incorporate all your new goodies. Please keep in mind that if you change your skincare routine all at once your skin might react badly (some do, some don't). Also, even if it doesn't, if one item is not suitable for you and you end up having a breakout then it's hard to determine which item is the culprit if you start using everything at one.
AM:
Special Cleansing Gel or Ultracalming Cleanser (if needed in the morning)
Daily Microfoliant
Multi-Active Toner
Multivitamin Power Concentrate
Total Eye Care (in the morning because it has SPF)
Sheer Tint Moisture (I'm not sure if this will be enough for you, if not then use the Skin Smoothing Cream and add SPF)
PM:
Special Cleansing Gel or Ultracalming Cleanser
Multi-Active Toner
Multi-vitamin Power-firm for eyes
Skin Smoothing Cream
A few times a week also use the Skin Hydrating Mask after exfoliating your skin. If you're going to use the Gentle Cream Exfoliant then you'll have to remember to drop off the use of Microfoliant a bit - too much exfoliation is not good. |

I just had a complimentary skin consultation, but I did grab the EDS service menu.
Prices depend on what kind of facial you want. They range from $60 to $150. EDS also offers some anti-aging treatments ($59-99). Let me know if you want to know more info or have a specific type you are looking for.
I definetely think you are better ordering online, as you will get all your products at once and they will all be available! |

thanks brooke. I don't have the funds for a facial right now, but would love a consult. I'll have to find a good day and call |
