I am on my third night of doing Dr. Haushcka rhythmic night conditioner. After 30 plus years of slathering moisturizer on my face at bedtime, it feels very weird to be going to bed "dry faced". My face feels parched, but is as smooth as silk when I brush my hand against it.
I'd like some feedback from other "mature" skinned women here. Did you have any problems with not moisturizing like usual? I want to give this product a chance and do the entire 28 day routine, but I'm afraid I will end up with a face drier than the Sahara.
I am cleansing with Dr. H cleansing milk beforehand and then using two vials of the conditioner. In the morning, I use cleansing creme followed by clarifying toner, normalizing oil, and a dab of quince cream. That seems to be working well. |

I'm not "mature skinned" but I will let you know my experiences with the RNC anyway. I have normal skin although it was combo when I was using the RNC (which was a while ago). It did take me a while to get used to the idea of putting no cream on my face at night but my skin did adjust and I didn't feel it was dry anymore. I actually found that one ampoule of the RNC was plenty to cover my face at night. I did cheat and use an eye cream (I just simply cannot bring myself to not use eye cream - ever!).
Now, having said that, I do recall that someone here gave up with the idea of no moisturiser at night because their skin was just getting too dry. I would suggest that you wait for the advice of others that have similar skin to yours (what is your skin type btw?) but give the routine a few more days to see if your skin adjusts. |
