Hello everyone!

I am looking for a thread made a year or so ago by a veteran member in which she had conducted a simple homemade test to see which Vit C in the market was the best.

In it, she had applied popular Vit C brands to various apple slices to see which one would retain its color and which would oxidize the fastest.

I have used the search function like crazy trying to find this thread to no avail. There are just sooo many results.

I would appreciate the help! If anyone remembers!

Thank you.

I don't think I've ever seen that but I have seen a video regarding MULTI-VITAMINS on youtube before and the experiment was done by company called Usana

Do you mean which form of vitamin C - L-ascorbic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbyl palmitate? If so that test doesn't accurately replicate what happens in vivo. Or do you mean many brands of vit C tablet, all of which are LAA?

No, I mean someone had posted some before and after pictures on the forum in which they tested cellex c, vivian vit c, etc on apple slices (i think) to see which one would help the apple not turn brown...GAWD! I wish I had saved that thread.

Thanks!!!

I guess Cellex C wasn't tested.
I'll have to have an experiment of my own soon.
