Heyhey,
I am going to be flying soon for like 20 something hours to visit home.
What kind of things could u recomend for cleansing the skin conviniently?
Also, anything that could make it look and feel fresh instead of tired and blothy?
What do you guys use for emergency pick-me-up?
CAnt wait to see what you guys say!
Thanks!

I personally buy travel containers and empty my favorite cleanser in that, and carry it in my hand luggage on the plane. If I am really prepared, I buy the travel size version of my favorite cleanser i.e. md formulations glycolic comes in a 2 oz trial/travel size.
I have not tried this, but it may be convenient to buy those cleansers that come in wipe forms. I don't know of any of the lines on here that have it, but Oil of Olay - for instance have wipes- where you just add water, and throw away when done. Convenient - yes, Effective - ?
I have oily skin, so I do not spritz with water or O2 as some like to do to freshen up on long work days or plane trips. This may be an option for you. for my oily skin, I feel fresher using loose powder if a wash area is not available - but if I remember correctly, you're male...
Sounds like an exciting journey and will be nice to go home - have fun! |

Hi Aga I'm a seasoned flyer myself (I'm in Australia and my partner is in Florida) and I've found that the best way to keep my skin in check is to take a small bottle of my derm ultracalming cleanser on board, use it and then spritz with a soothing spray/toner (I like Jurlique's rose water freshener), pop my derm hydrating mask over the top then sit back and relax!! I can leave that mask on for ages without irriatating my skin. Plus it's clear so I don't get too many strange looks from the other passengers ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

I'm about to go on a 15hr flight next Friday myself and while I haven't even started to think about packing I know what I will be brining with me. I'm taking my bottle of the Thalgo hydrating mist even though it's big and not very handy - the only thing I have to find out is if it's ok to bring in pressurised stuff with you in your carry-on luggage.... I am also taking a couple of wash cloths (I'm just going to cleanse with mist and then warm damp wash cloth), Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream and Dr Hauschka Rejuvenating Mask (it's either that or the Valmont Renewing Pack which is a SUPER pick me up mask). I think that will keep me covered. Btw, I usually travel without any makeup so I don't really worry to much about carying on cleasners that remove makeup/mascara etc |

Hello all
Thanks so much for the great suggestions!
I think I am going to get some of those wipes for sure, just in case
And the Dr H Rej mask soudns like it would come really handy!
My skin turns to a nightmare during flying for some reason...
