I'VE JUST FINISHED MY DISSERTATION, ALL 10,230 WORDS (EXCLUDING REFS AND APPENDICES)
Had a little cry, but I am soooooooooooooooo happy! 
Two more short essays to do and I'm finished

fantastic! you go girl! i knew you could do it (jeez, if i can do a phd you can soooooo do your diss.)!
very excited for you but i know what it feels like to need a little cry too - a couple of my friends handed in the MA theses on friday (30-40,000 words) and they both had a cry too, very stress-relieving!

big celebration on saturday as well for my 40th. I can't believe it is finished! Trying to think of a post grad coourse now, so I don't have to re-enter the real world. Trouble is, I'll probably have to go to Plymouth or Exeter which makes it a 300 mile round trip 
...mebbe I'll just get a job instead!

EEEK! not a Dr! (yet!), Just plain old graduate now (well nearly ...I really shouldn't be here you know  ...just having some R&R before examining the exciting topic of rural poverty {where's the yawn smilie when you need it?]) |
