My hubby bought me my first new car! It's a little Honda Civic, cherry red loaded with a manual transmission. I love it!! I will take photos later today to show you guys. 
We've been talking about getting rid of my Jeep Cherokee for awhile now, it is so bad on gas and we live 20 mins out of town.
The car is so fun to drive, my little guy is tired of going for drives.
With this and my $50 gift certif from EDS this has been a great May! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, too. Annette |

| LOL! Did you think the reference to my 'little guy' was my husband? That's got me giggling! I'm a mom too, before we had our son though we celebrated mother's and father's day because we had our critters who we were parents to. This is the only time he's ever really done anything major for the day though. A small gift and a card are all I've ever really gotten before. |

It's BEAUTIFUL!!!
I've been thinking of getting a Civic lately. I think it's the best deal on the market! Sounds like we're in similar situations. I'm driving an Explorer & soon will need to commute 40 miles/way for work. Better mileage is a necessity.

Thanks Steph for reminding me to blank out the plate, I trust every single one of you but this site pops up in Google searches, great for the EDS but not for me if I want to protect my identity!
It's cute, eh? I'm tickled to not be driving the loud and bulky SUV anymore. With the gas prices going so high too I feel free to do some travelling.
I do think a Honda or Toyota are excellent value, they have a great resale potential because they are usually a solid product. My husband's Toyota pickup is at 250,000 kms and costs about 100 every two years to replace this or that. My 1990 Cherokee was so expensive to fix, it was costing $1500 a year to fix plus it sucks the gas up like mad. |

Wow congrats Lolli!
I absolutely loooove the colour - such a beautiful cherry (or candy apple) colour!
Both Hondas & Toyotas are great cars. If I ever purchase a car, it would probably be one of these.
My ultimate dream car is a BMW mini though  |
