Is there a definitive list somewhere of oils that will definitely NOT clog the pores?
There are so many oils mentioned for skincare--from aromatic/essential to cooking, to castor, I'm wondering could some of them be make my already clogged pores worse? I sure don't want to unwittingly contribute to the problems I'm trying to fix!
Please advise! Thanks ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Don't feel bad rosebud, I did the same thing. It's a little confusing though, I thought mineral oil and lanolin were bad but according to this list they're ok?? Someone posted the link on a different thread earlier this week. So confused ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

Above link is broken, but here's the thing with mineral oil. Although it won't block pores, as it cannot penetrate the pores, It's not very useful for just that reason. Jojoba oil is my favorite. It's non comedogenic and has a mild antiseptic action ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

That's why mineral oil is ok in a cleasner. It's not sticky like some plant oils.
On another note, Jojoba behaves like a liquid wax, doesn't absorb either.

I think I read somewhere that the zerozits website belongs to sageskincare and so this looks like it may be the article referred to:
