This is a minireview of Paul Mitchell super skinny serum and Aveda brilliant universal styling creme.
I am so thankfull to Carekate who suggested these for my frizzy curly hair. She sent me a very generous sample of super skinny serum plus L'oreal Nature Therapy conditioner which was so gooood.
I bought Aveda creme yesterday and today after I washed my hair I separated it into small sections and applied serum followed by styling creme and let it air dry.
Results: frizz-free curly hair. I have naturally curly hair and all the products that I have tried always make it even more curly plus hard curls and I do not want more curls than I already have. The combination of serum and styling creme left my hair soft (not poofy), shiny and just what I really needed. It just gave me a little difinition to my curls without any crunch effect which I hate. I still need to experiment a little to get the right amount into my hair but that is simple.
The girl in Aveda store was cautioning me that this creme might weigh my hair down a little plus relax my curls but this was all I needed to hear. It is not weighing my hair down and my curls are just the way they are...still curly but not super spiraly curly like after any products designed for curly hair. I love it!
Big Thank you to Carekate!
I love my curls now even more! |

Ha! I am another lover of Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.... it's one that doesn't make your hair feel heavy and "oily" if you use too much either.
I find my hair dries a bit quicker too which is a bonus now the weather is getting cold here.... love the fresh green apple smell too. |

in a Paul Mitchell tv add is stated that authentic PM products could be found only at salons. what about PM sold at stores like target, rite aid etc. are they knock-offs? |

No, they’re not knock-offs. But they COULD be old/expired products (i.e.: the stuff that the authorized salons threw away). Just to be safe, you should always buy your prestige hair care products at salons or salon retail stores, like Ulta here in the U.S.. |

Hi Carekate! You're right!
Speaking of ULTA, just went there 2 weekends ago and was surprised by this store. It's new here in our area - Dublin, CA at the Hacienda Crossings Plaza. This place is awesome! Anyway, it looks like their skinny serum was a dollar less so I went ahead and grab it! I already have my 2 sis-in-law hooked on it so there! |
