Hi All
Can anyone give me any idea where I vitamin C powder from.
I want to have a go at making my own Vit C serum but the Vit C that I have bought is not the right sort.
I believe it needs to be L-Ascorbic acid (or lyscorbic acid).
TIA

I purchased mine from Whole Foods and the brand is called Solgar. I havent made any yet but will soon. I plan to use this on my decollete and hands. Hope this helps.

I ordered from theherbarie.com. They do ship overseas but unfortunately they have a minimum international order of $100. They have lots of good stuff so if you need anything else it might be worth a look or you could combine an order with someone else. |

Hi Gypsy
I am using Carekate's recipe for home made Vit c serum, if you look under the DIY Skin care recipes it's on the first page.
It becomes a serum with the ingredients you add to it

Hi Cheeks,
Whole Foods does not have a website that you can purchase items from. BUT, if you go towww.solgar.com and click on the International link it will provide you with store locations, possibly in your area.
The recipe for homemade Vit. C Serum is listed under DIY skincare, which I believe someone just mentioned (sorry I'm no good at using the quote icon---yup, silly I know.)

Hi Lisa
This is great thanks! As soon as I clicked on the link I recognised the Solgar packaging and knew where they stocked it in my town, so I will ring today to see if they carry the Vit C powder

Hi Carrie
Thanks for the link, it didn't bring up a product but I put it in the search engine and I have found the Vit C crystals for sale at £9.45 - not sure if this is a good or bad price but at least I have managed to find some!
