After a glycolic acid peel I had some redness that persisted on one side of my face. I took a square of a hydrogel (gel that is >90% water) product meant to treat burns and put it on that spot with some antibiotic cream. After less than one day when I removed the patch the kin under the patch was white and beautiful and you could clearly see where the patch had been. I did a WEB search and there are some products using these gels (I presume as an occulsive dressing to help actives penetrate and to hydrate the skin.
Has anyone used a hydrogel product? |

they make a foundation also. I posted a note about it but got no response-when I get home I will look. Its water based, and used for people after peels etc, you can control the coverage, and it stays on. I have a sample of it and I think its a bit heavy for now but in the summer it would be good. Let me look on the forum and find the product name |
