Im looking for a concealer to cover the broken capillaries at the side of my nose and do i need a setting powder after it as my nose tends to get a bit shiny. My skin tone is pale and i dont want anything too heavy or cakey. |

What about looking into the Jane Iredale mineral bases, you could use either the pressed or loose powder (I think the pressed gives more coverage)
It is a powder, concealer and foundation in one without being too heavy. If you need more coverage just build it up in layers.
I'd recomend sending off for samples firt to match your skin tone then order off EDS:

I was going to suggest the same as Rosebud. I think that a powder mineral foundation applied as a concealer with a fine-tipped brush would really work well and would last longer than most cream/liquid concealers. I actually still think that mineral foundation powders are best at disguising pimples too. |

Clinique's Hides Anything is a great concealer for covering blemishes in that it is a matte finish, so it seems to stay put better than some of the more moisturizing concealers. You do not need a setting powder either. If you are looking for a concealer for undereye circles, I would suggest Lancome Effacernes. It is moisturizing w/HA & has a silicone bead base in it that "fills in" little lines & wrinkles & stops the concealer from settling & making your fine lines look more noticable. I use this concealer after late nights/party nights & nobody ever even knows it's there. I use Porcelaine 1.
Hope this helps,

I've recently started using Clinique Airbrush Concealer (it has a built-in brush which is what attracted me at first)) and I really like it! It's not cakey like the thicker Trish McEvoy concealer I'd used for years (but began to feel was too heavy). The Clinique has a nice finish (doesn't bunch up in creases like some other concealers), is lighter in texture, and dries fairly matte. It gets the job done. I had a little difficulty using it at first -- the wand has to be cranked to release the concealer, and it took me a while to calibrate the amount I wanted.
My skin is also quite fair, and I also have a bit of redness on the sides of my nose. This product works very well for me without using any powder to set it. |

I like MAC's studio Finnish, this stuff covers anything and stays put all day, I use a MAC concealer brush. |

Lancome's Effacernes waterproof is a nice soft finish and provides excellent coverage, too. |
