Cargo Lipgloss Duo: For this price, you get quite a large container full of lip gloss. This stuff is very glossy and doesn't have that stickiness most gloss will give. Color goes on smoothly and lasts an adequate amount of time. The container is so big though that I won't put it in my purse. Wink

i had this as well- and the two colors were a very light pink that I thought would be a cream and a darker pink i thought was tinted but they both applied like vaseline - consistency was too wet for me.

So i had some eyeshadow that i didn't use because it was too shimmery pink, almost cheap looking! So instead i broke it down and mixed it into both sides of my cargo lipgloss- and after it had gone soft from all the mixing... i put it in the fridge for a couple of days.

Now i have a nice little palette of highlighter for the center of my lip and i actually put this "home pigmented" lipgloss to use! WinkSmile

I've had the same one for over two years. Forgot what colors, but it's very moisturizing and does feel quite like vaseline, now that you mention it. Doesn't last very long on lips, though.

Right now at Sephora, they have a limited collection which is quite a deal! It's $45 but the total value to the whole kit is $108!

Here's the description!

10th Anniversary Signature Collection ($108 Value)
What it is:
To mark the 10th anniversary of CARGO cosmetics, this collection of CARGO icons: signature products that have become CARGO's trademarks of the last decade, was created as a show of appreciation to CARGO's loyal followers.

What else you need to know:
The oversized, signature tin includes: Bronzer in Medium (an award-winning CARGO favorite), BeachBlush in Coral Beach (a soft, blendable bronzer), Lip Gloss Duo in Soho (two shades of sheer rose), Reverse Lip Liner (holds your gloss in place all day as it enhances the appearance of fullness), and Liquid Powder 01 (wear alone or over foundation for a gorgeous finish). All products are full size and limited edition.

I like their lipgloss but I don't want to buy another because I find that it leaks in my purse.

In the winter, when I have the seat warmer in my car on, I find it get warm through my purse and start to melt and make a mess. Also in the summer when I carry it in my purse, it leaks and makes a mess.

Otherwise, lovely colours, nice shine. Very Happy

I got Bora Bora , Mitchu Pitchu and Tenaga (10 th anniversary special edition ) I love them ! These colors are a bit betwen a gloss and a lipstick, wit a lip crayon its deeper. I keep them at work because you need a brush to use them. The only problem I got is that every lipstick or gloss that I wear...I always end up having a white line in the middle of my mouth Confused its like a product residue...so I have to chek my lips all the time. Does anyone now why this appends ???

Hi katya the reason you have this is because your lips are too dry I think. Every time I don't keep my lips moisturised (or myself is dehydrated) my lips with get that white line.

Try exfoliating your lips and then use nighttime treatment Very Happy. There are several threads on lip balms here.

Hi all,

I know this string is old now, but I was wondering how dark the darker colours come out on the lips. My lips are dark so anything too pale makes me look dead, but I don't want to look gothic. Can anyone help?

Well ...If that can help. I own Bora Bora and one of the two colors is a deep plum/burgundy color...but on the lips it is just really sheer. Some of the duo lips gloss have a sheer texture so it look lighter on lip and some are more frosty and look a little more deep. I think its better to try before purchase if you can find Cargo in your area...

Thanks Katya,

I was thinking of getting bora bora, but I was going to get them from EDS as Cargo is difficult to get in the UK and a lot more expensive when you find it. My main concern is to avoid getting something too light which makes me look like I have a nasty lip infection and have smothered my lips in antiseptic cream!

Do you wear it alone, sister sweets, or do you wear it over lipstick? Possibly a neural base lipstick could give it a little more hold?

I've never tried their lip gloss, but their lipstick is amazing. It tastes good and lasdts longer than most. It also helps moisurize.

I've used the plant love lipsticks too. They feel quite dragging when you first apply from the bullet, but once on the lip they feel lovely and soft and do seem to stay on for ages. I have the coral one which is quite bright - great for the summer - the red is next on my list.

I tried the Duo lip gloss when it came out years ago, but was never really won over by it. Here are the reasons why:
1) Although the colors were gorgeous in the pan, and when you first put it on, the color lost it's punch very quickly after.
2) The gloss did not stay on for long...it like, disappears to somewhere!
3) The amount is ridiculous, unless you're Shrek's wife, or Mick Jagger!! I would prefer something in a size more appropriate for carrying in my purse, and not a backpack! Very Happy

I do see your point. The lipgloss looks lovely in the pot, but I have to say, I have never finished a regular size lipgloss, let alone a monster size like Cargo. I get bored with the colour or something new comes out which catches my attention. It is a shame that they don't seem to have any longevity, and as they don't come with an applicator or mirror, re-application on the go could be a bit of a bore. Confused
