Hi all,
I am on Murad Acne Complex Kit for week 6. Unfortunately, my skin hasn't been cleared yet. 
With reduction in using the exfoliating gel, my purging process has calm down. However, compared to my original skin condition, I would say it is worse than before.
Even though I like their Clarifying Cleanser and their Skin Perfecting Lotion, I am thinking of switching to another line in order to clear my face with hundreds of whiteheads.
The one I am interested is "MD Formulations Adult Anti-Blemish Kit". As far as I know, this is a new kit, as opposed to "Problem-Prone Skin Kit". Did anyone try these? Any comments?
I know from this board that using AHA or BHA helps fighting acne. My concern is if Murad containing BHA doesn't help me, does it mean that MD Formulations using AHA will not help me too as they are basically similar medication. Or it is possible that AHA will work even if BHA doesn't work for me? 
Also, is there any moisturers from MDF contain retinol? I somehow feel that after using the retinol based Skin Perfecting Lotion from Murad, my skin has a bit glow (areas without red pimples). I guess retinol is good for me.
Really want to have nice healthy skin ... Please help!
P.S. Background info:
- Combination to a bit oil skin
- Whiteheads all over with several red pimples on cheeks
- 28-yr-old asian female
- Currently on Minocycline (2 months so far...no effect yet) |
