In particular the bronzer (powder compact) and the new pure care cover stick. Has anyone tried either of these products? Any comments? |

I love Dr H makeup and have been using it for the past 5 or so years now. I use the bronzer as my blush. It gives my cheeks a nice healthy fresh colour. Subtle and natural. The cover stick is fabulous. EDS isn't carrying it right now but they told me they would have it again in June. It has been the best cover stick I've ever tried and I can't wait for it to come back. Not only does it conceal well, but it helps heal and lighten spots as too. The ingredients are excellent. I highly recommend Dr H comsetics. I've loved every item I've tried and I've pretty much tried them all! |

Thank you Wildflower. I have been looking at the cover stick for a while now. I saw an article on it in a magazine saying how good it was. It gets average reviews on MUA but a lot of people seemed to be using it under their eyes and my understanding was that's it more of a blemish concealer? Am I also right in thinking there are only two colours? Do you have any colour advice, I'm relativley pale (Mac NW25) so I was thinking the lightest shade? TIA. |

Rachael, I'm a big fan of Dr. Hauschka make-up in general and use the cover stick (as well as the newer concealer pen) every day. Like Wildflower, I really like the cover stick, especially for blemishes; it's the only concealer that I've used that promotes healing.
I'd definitely recommend the lightest shade if your skin is fair.
I can understand why people may be disappointed if they're using the cover stick to conceal under-eye circles. The cover stick is rather stiff, which works well for applying to small areas (e.g., broken capillaries and blemishes), but I think would be less conducive for under-eye use. |

I am fair as well so use the lightest shade. I use it under my eyes without any problems. It's great all around! |

I like Dr. Hauschka's translucent make-up. It doesn't look like you have it on but evens out my skin. I have their eyeshadow but don't like it because it wears off pretty quickly. |

I don't really care for Dr. H skincare, but I love their makeup!
I use the concealer stick to cover blemishes [not too often now, thank the gods] and a few scars. The coverage is great, even for my medium-light skintone [I used their medium shade]
The pressed bronzing powder is a must for me, I usually dust a tiny bit under cheekbones and the orbital bone to give my eyes a little more definition.
The pressed transulent finishing powder doesn't work that well for me, it doesn't seem to play very well with my MMU and does nothing to control oil. I keep it in my purse for emergencies only and seldom use it.
Their eyeshadows are absolutely lovely. I love the smell of rose petals and the way these products glide on your eyelids. Colors are subtle, however; not for the BOLD look.
I love the mascara as well [old formula]. It's good to know the stuff I paint my face with aren't causing any harm. |
