Guys what are ur comments on the body shop stuff - i have just bought their honey shampoo and conditioner for my dry hair and it is quite good (wanted the aveda but it is very expensive - although will try it when this runs out)are their products really natural or is it all advertising hype.

Thanks
nicola

from looking at the ingredients they are just kinda regular products. with trace amounts of extracts.

i have used lots of their stuff before, but just weren't for me. and they aren't very cheap here either.

dont mean to rain on your parade, but there is already a lot of scepticism out there about the body shop's idea of helping community/indigenous groups, and their choice of ingredients in products. but that's a whole other story.

I do love they're body scrubs, especially the cocoa butter one, smells good enough to eat, also makes my skin feel really nice and soft!
I'm not very fond of their body butters, kinda greasy in my opinion, and their body washes are too perfumey for my liking, I do love their white musk body spray, really sexy smelling!

Thanks for the replies guys,

i now have to try and hide my shampoo & conditioner from Nexxu as it made my hair hideously greasy - and i have dry hair! and now my body shop shampoo and conditioner from my husband as he will go nuts on the amount of money i have wasted not to mention onavene sun creams, about £30 in mineral samples.

But i must have the Aveda stuff now!

i use their cocoa body butter to help and prevent my stretch marks. I also love their satsuma purfumes and lotions, that scent smells so yummy.
They just came out with a tea tree facial line, it should be good for oily/acne skin, i wonder if it's any good. Anybody try it?

Love their hemp moisturizing products. Also love their lip glosses in the little pots. My favorite is "born lippy".

I like their Satsuma shower gel and their Bath Milk powder. Their eye makeup remover is also one of my faves.... I think that's about it for me.

The tea tree facial line has been out for years over here, my boyfriend used to use the face wash , scrub and the gel of course I tried them myself Wink The scrub is good but the scrubby bits themself are rather large. The gel again was good but I am not a big fan of anything gel like and I can't fault the wash either. Well worth trying.

We also have the tea tree shampoo in the bathroom, good for oily hair but after a while I got bored of the tea tree smell.

I like all the cocoa butter line and the body butters are to die for, I hate the thin lotions so these are ideal.

I once got a sample of a face mask that heated up on your face, can't remember the name but this is really good.

The shower gels are OK The glycerin soaps are good, I always have one in the shower, they used to make soaps in the shapes of hands:lol:

Can anyone guess what I always get for christmas?????? Laughing
