I never thought I would spend $50 for a lipstick, I really didn't mean too, I just thought I'd try it on for fun. Then I put it on and looked in the mirror and the lipstick made my whole face light up. My cheeks glowed, my eyes shined - so I couldn't just walk away and leave it behind. So I spent $50 on a lipstick and I have a whole list of rationalizations that I won't go into. But it's really worth it. It's a sheer lipstick/lipgloss and lip treatment in one. My lips are so soft and gently colored. I got shade 110. These new lipsticks are great for those who just like a sheer wash of color, and it is relatively long lasting. Here's a link to the Cle de Peau website for more information:

Can you tell me what your skin colour is? I've always found it hard to see if the web-site shade is right. |

I have fair to light skin with blue eyes - seems we have something in common. |

Mmm, I haven't been a fan of the much raved cle de peau concealer, which was pretty expensive as well. |

It's too expensive for a lip balm. |

I love this new lipstick/gloss as well, I have shade #103, a beautiful nude colour. |

Thank you! I think it is worth investing on this lipstick at least once. We all deserve something nice. |

I got four of these on special, almost half price, some of the colours are beautiful, like the burgundy and bold reds, but alas most of the beige and pink shades are wayyy too sheer for me. The texture is superb, very smooth and creamy, and stands out as a quality product. My only gripe is the fact that once the product is twisted out it cannot retract again!! Very bad for such a classy product... |
