R: our discussion about whether Bisque is a whole lot lighter than Warm Silk or just more neutral. I've tried Bisque and it is substantially lighter than Warm Silk, way less pigment. I can wear Warm Silk but not Bisque, it makes me look a bit like a ghost! |

Thanks for the warning Lolli! I still haven't managed to track it down - well I know where to find it but I haven't been to that place for a while.
I hope you figured this out via a tester and not because you bought one.... |

I did swap for it. I would recommend it for neutral palest of pale ladies. It's too bad because the next shade up, Satin is wayyyy too pink for me the amount of pigment is right on. I may have to use a different brand <sob> because I can't seem to find the right shade with JI. Warm silk is really orange on me, less so with primer but still not quite right. I have more green in my skin I think than JI puts in her products. I love the texture of the pressed and loose foundations, it's like she mills them really finely and I love it!
I'm finding Alpha Skincare's Oatmeal shade to be right on which is kinda cool because it's very reasonably priced. I just have to really buff it in and work with it so it doesn't streak because the mixtures aren't as fine. |
