Hi,
I bought an item off Ebay on the 30th August, the seller sent an invoice and I paid instantly with Paypal.
Delivery was within the UK and was charged at 1st class rate, thing is I've not received the item, I logged on to 'My Ebay' and the seller is no longer registered. I've emailed her (via the Contact Seller) but had no reply.
How long should before reporting an 'Item not received' to Ebay/paypal - I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and give it a week or so but the lack of resonse to my emails has worried me.
I've always been very lucky with previous sales/purchases on Ebay so will be a bit disappointed if I can't sort this out.:O( |

Have you heard nothing from the seller? Try contacting them and see what happens. If no joy in 5 days, file a payment recovery with paypal. |

Hi there sweety smarty,
My significant other and I are HUGE ebayers. Both selling and purchasing. Recently he made a very high-end purchase (neither of us are rich)and the guy dissapeared. He attempted to contact him, when that didn't work he contacted ebay/PayPal RIGHT AWAY. You have MAY have buyer protection because you paid through PayPal up to $1000 I think-but only if it said 'buyer protection'. Contact both ebay and PayPal as soon as you can. My boyfriend got $1000 of his money back and only lost a bit.
Best to you,
Anita |

If you did the transaction through paypal, and the auction thing is still available with the number..i'd try to file a claim. I almost had to go through with filing a claim with a guy that wasnt sending NIN tickets to me (which was to be a gift for my friend). If the person doesnt contact paypal to give their side of the story, they take your side and i believe any money remaining in that persons account that is rightfully yours will be given back. |

I am very glad both you Lucia and Sweety Smarty got your products. That's awful you even had to worry.
I feel silly in that my response should have been directed to *Lucia* with the disapearing seller. But I'm glad it helped you both. |

Sometimes buying online from far away countries is such a big worry... but you feel so much better when it arrives!!
(I'm still waiting for a Dr H package from Germany, it's been a month - darn surface mail) |
