Anyone have experience with the cheaper walmart brand of pro-active?? I bought it for my son and his face is still bad but then again... he is a lazy kid and I am sure didn't keep up with it the way he should... I was considering buying the "real" brand but wanted to see if maybe its not working well cuz he isn't using it the way it is intended or if it is lesser quality.
Anyone??

aww man!
I think that stuff is bad news. I tried it for about a weekk. First, it burns like hell! Then it made my face itch. Flakeing and burning, raw red spots... I din't try it long enough because it gave me the little itchy allergy type bumps...and I coudn't stand it. It took about 2 weeks for all the 'reactions' to stop.
Keep in mind (1) my skin isn't really bad at all - acne wise and (2) my skin is pretty sensitive.
And skin is supposed to get worse before it gets better, maybe its going through that phase. Or maybe he's having a reaction. Or maybe it's not working....has he been using it for a while? |

Sorry I am just getting back... I had surgery so havent been online near as much.
My son is very lazy... I have to tell him to do things such as... go brush your teeth.. go take a shower... did you use deodorant? I had to tell him to use it and then when I watch him he is so uncorordinated sometimes I think I should just do it for him myself. lol He is fixing to be 17 and is getting pretty interested in girls so I am hoping this helps get him more motivated in his appearance.
Did you use the proactive or the walmart brand? |

I tried the walmart brand, but I may have had an adverse reaction because I didn't really NEED it either.
But my friend has tried the 'regular' proactive. It seemed to work well for him, but again, it got worse before better (If i recall correctly) |
