Skincare and makeup HELP!!

I'm new to this and just discovered this site last night so hello from me. Please could anybody advise me whats best for me dermalogica or decleor. I have terrible skin, spotty, blackheads, congested, but at the same time very dry and when applying makeup because of my spots i get all these dry flakes all over my face which leaves me miserable. Could anybody recommend a foundation also that covers well but doean't dry and clog pores. Sorry for all the lengthy questions. many many thanks

Jody,

it sounds like you're drying your skin out too much. If I had to choose between the two, I would 100% go with Dermalogica. Make sure you cean your face well, that can be done with Special Cleansing Gel, also I would recommend Daily Microfoliant to deal with your blackheads and Special Clearing Booster for any conjestion (make sure you apply it only to affected areas). And as for moisturizer I would use Active Moist during the day and Skin Smoothing Cream at night.
If you finances allow you, also consider a Hydrating Mask as it is very important to deal with your hydration before you can concentrate on everything else. As for the foundation, I love Dermalogica Treatment Foundation and Sothys Lift Defence Foundation. To get a smooth effect, use it after you put on a moisturizer and apply it with down strokes along your face, not circular motions! You can even mix your foundation and moisturizer together if you find foundation is too thick.

Hmm 8 years since the original post, I have a feeling she already found a person to do her permanent make up.
