Just wondered if anyone has used any of the skinlights from the revlon range and what you think. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I tried one of the Skinlight cheek tint/blush thingys a few years ago, but I remember absolutely nothing about it so I must not have been impressed! I don’t think the line did/has done very well for Revlon because I often see Skinlight products in the “discontinued products” bin at Walmart and/or Ulta.... |

I bought one this summer and didn't like it as much as I had hoped. It was okay for going out to the clubs or whenever I wanted to feel "glowy". I don't want to call it shiney, but I think it was too much for a normal day. Even when I wore it at night, I'd put a little bit of loose powder over it or blot it a bit with a tissue to soften the effect. It does help to mask imperfections though. I can't remember what color I got, but it's a very neutral tone. |

Thankyou, I was deliberating this.
I do think it is overpriced, over here for a few extra ££ you can buy a more 'upmarket brand' |

Hello- I use Revlon Skinlights foundation and I love it. I live in Hawaii and my skin always has a slight tan. I found that this foundation is perfect because it doesn't cover up my skin, but it does freshen it and even it out. It is hard to find a concealer that is light enough- it always looks fake to me. This one doesn't. Not sure how it would do on paler skin though. |

i read somewhere that some people use the skinlights under their regular foundation products. That tones down the shine but lets some of the "glow" still come through....

I tried some a few years ago too, when it first came out I think.
Because I already have olive-ish skintones, it didn't do too much for my skin. I think the light shimmer effect only comes through well if you have fair smooth skin, whereas a lot of people have fine pores and bumps which don't do justice for products like that.
What about a shimmer tan powder instead? |

I tried it ages ago as well, I remember using this stuff when I was in NY so that would make it about four years ago. I didn't like their concealer (the YSL Touche Eclat copy-cat one) but their foundation was good but probably only if you have pretty flawless skin. |

I like the now-discontinued blush sticks; Peach is my favorite shade. I thought I wouldn't find an adequate alternative blush until I came across Maybelline's new Dream Mousse Blush. Love this one! |
