Does anyone know whether customs in australia charge you when you buy less than $100.00 of products overseas?
I've just bought stuff from 3 different places-now I'm worried about what extra costs I may end up with ![Embarassed](images/smiles/redface.gif) |

If the parcels are sent via air mail, you are allowed to import Au$250 worth of goods before you get charged customs fees. I think courier is the same but they tend to be very vigilant about it. With air mail you can often send more than the Au$250 and nothing will happen (just based on luck really).
Btw, I think that the Au$250 also includes the cost of sending the parcel over (not just the contents). |
