Hi,

My face is a lot darker than my legs and arms, which rarely get any sun. How can I get rid of the tan on my face (other than just staying out of the sun)?

On a related note, what do you guys think about Lustra and other bleaching products with hydroquinone? I hear it can cause lots of problems but my derm has prescribed it.

What do you know about Vichy BiWhite or Dove's Double White?

Thanks.

exfoliate... Smile

I don't like hydroquinone, but if it's prescribed by a dermatologist and you're getting follow up treatment it might be ok. Just make sure it's low concentration

Hrm, maybe try exfoliting your face with a facial loofah? It might scrub away the upper layers of skin and make you appear a bit lighter. I would stay away from chemicals, a tan will fade on its own anyway.

Stay out of the sun, wear high SPF sunblock (even if you're trying to stay out of the sun) and use a good exfoliator. I would actually suggest the Dermalogica Microfoliant (with brightening ingredients) or something with glycolic acid in it (like the MD Formulations cleansers and scrub).
