Okay, well that pretty much lays it out!
I have combination skin and use all Kinerase products (Cleanser/C6/Cream) and like them but am looking for a product that will lighten a few sun spots, help with recent lack of firmness and of course take care of fine lines.
I'd love to find something additionly I could use on my hands to lighten sun spots; however they don't need to be same product (since i'm guessing the stuff for the face might be expensive).
Any favs? |

Kinerase is good if your skin is too sensitive to stand a retinoid like Retin-A, Renova, Retin-A Micro. Tretinoin (the active ingredient in all of these) is great for reversing sun damage, thickening your skin and getting rid of fine lines. You usually need an Rx to get it but I think there are some places you can get it online. Should start with a cream and a low percentage like 0.05% and use every three days for awhile then every two, then every day if you can tolerate it. Some folks are too sensitive to use it and flake like crazy but it is really (next to sunscreen and Vitamin C)the most effective skin care topical you can use. |

What about some of the IS Clinical products for these issues?
Of the Retion-A products you describe, which is best for sensitive skin? |

Thanks for the suggestion Lili. Do you use the original or the sensitive skin version?

You might try MaMa lotion--This really helped to lighten one stubborn spot on the side of my cheek. I think that it would work well on hands--although I haven't tried on my hands. I also really adore the Santa Maria Novella hand cream that smells insanely almondy delish! Leaves your hands so soft. Ordered mine from Lafco.com! |

I use the original, even though I have sensitive skin. |

If you're looking for a Retin-A product that is not as strong as prescription, Skinceuticals .5% Retinol cream may be a good choice for you. |

Hi terriermommy
skincarerx.com carries MaMa lotion - they sent me a sample when I bought a couple of Skinceuticals products. I don't know if they will send samples without a purchase but maybe you can email them to ask. HTH |
