Hi everyone-
I hafta tell ya'...I am THRILLED beyond words to find this forum about all the stuff I'm interested in. I mean besides my teenage daughter and work and exercise-I have to take care of me. I've been a fanatical facial soap/face cream/ eye cream user since my early twenties. My skin is OK-but being in sunny San Diego and out in the sun has caused the elasticity to weaken. AND SO my search for some good elasticity building, wrinkle correcting forumlas.
Okay-so I read about and researched Perricone's products and I went out and spent WAY too much money on 3 things. It’s only been a week and so far The Firming Facial Mask with DMAE is going back…too drying for me. The Alpha Lipoic Acid LIP PLUMPER is somewhat working-I’m going to probably keep this one-but have 60 days to return to Sephora. The Starter kit that contains Components: Alpha Lipoic Acid Nutritive Cleanser., Vitamin C Ester Amine Complex Face Lift, Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Firming Activator, Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Finishing Moisturizer, Vitamin C Ester Eye Area Therapy and the Alpha Lipoic Acid Eye Area Therapy. Out of this goodie bag-I LOVE the Firming Activator, the Nutritive cleanser and the Amine Complex (C-ester). I saw on ebay that there are a few reputable sellers and you can get the $95 firming activator for around $52.00 ($26.50USD per ounce) + $7 shipping and the Amine for $35 with $7 shipping. Has anyone else ordered the Perricone off eBay. I am an avid eBayer and bought and sold many things I am very happy with-so I know it can happen.
I know it’s very EARLY-but so far so good. I tried to find products that have similar ingredients because of the cost. I’ve come across a few different products but if this works AND I can get it for cheaper on eBay and its efficacy is not diminished-I’ll probably stick with it.
ALSO-I’ll probably do a review of this Emu Oil I use to top off the whole Perricone line. I found a product that is made Locally here in the San Diego area and my local Boney’s sells lots of it. It’s Jurassic Secret Emu Oil (http://www.jsemuoil.com/index.html) and so far I love this stuff. Absorbs easily in my face after I put all the other goodies on.
Thanks in advance for any experiences you can share |

I have bought Perricone products on ebay. I don't remember the seller's name, though. Perricone products should have a seal on them so ask and make sure that they come with the seal and you should be OK. Also, make sure they have good feedback. |

Thanks Sadie... Awesome-good to hear someone's received good product.
Yea I regularly sell/buy on ebay and am very picky on who I purchase from. This seller had fantastic reviews and communicated in a friendly manner as well. I hope my product comes before I leave on vaca.
thanks again-Anita |

I bought my first set of Perricone eye products from Ebay and was very satisfied although I can't remember which seller I chose. I do remember they were both sealed and I was happy with the purchase. When I ran out and had to reorder from Sephora the products were exactly the same.
The eye products are the only thing I have used from the Perricone line and I absolutely loved them. I've used rx Retinoids for quite some time, but never used them under my eyes daily. Now that I am, the Perricone products are just too strong. The only eye creams I can use now are the ones that are just intended to moisturize. And honestly, if you can tolerate rx retinoids, nothing compares in my opinion. But if I ever had to quit the retinoids, I'd go right back to the Perricone eye products. Hope this helps!

thank you Cheri,
I appreciate the input and advice. I'm off on a trip and will be out of the 'internet' zone for a couple of weeks. I had actually planned to purchase renova when I get back. My ebay purchase is not due to come in till after I leave (blasted ups ground). Anyway...here's hoping it will be fine. |

I had purchased the eye area therapy on eBay few months back, can't say that it's the real thing. Can't recall if there was a seal on the bottle or the box. The consistency is very watery, very difficult to apply. I read in some other post here that it was supposed to be kind of thick. I wonder.... |

I received my ebay Perricone purchase and am very satified with the price and the fact it is genuine (sealed in original box).
Just wanted to let you all know there is a reputable seller by the eBay ID of "paylesstellfriends".
Anita
also beautyfashaddict...
there are two Perricone eye treatments, one is very watery (the vitamin C treatment) the other is creamy (the lipoic acid eye treatment)-so you probably have the real thing if it's the vitamin C eye treatment. |
